God and His Pottery Wheel, Revisited

Man jumps on pedal of pottery wheel to get it going

This is not his purpose

God gives man THE biggest side-eye

But lets him spin his own fate

Excited, man wants to mold, manipulate, control

This is not his purpose

Sticks hand into some slip

Astounded by the color contrast of his skin and slip

And enjoys how life feels between his fingers a little

Too much

Clay on spinning disc flies in all directions

Hits pavement, dangles from tree, finds bullet

Man makes mistakes but won’t admit them

Hands unfit to handle clay with care

Flamenco Sketches skips in the 7th minute of song
