In Spring 2024, SaltWater Sojourn has launched The Cowrie Collective, a sousou for Blackqueer creatives, in order to actualize our community care praxis via resource sharing and collectivism

We are seeking out Friends of the Cowrie, those tangental to oui community that are able to fiscally support the livelidhoods of Blackqueers within SaltWater Sojourn’s ecosystem and beyond. This gathering of kindred spirits is not merely a financial arrangement but a testament to the profound impact of mutual aid, community care, and solidarity economics. All monetary contributions to continue funding our work are tax deductible. We deeply appreciate all amounts to be contributed to continue our ability to create and curate spaces for Black queer art, creative expression, fellowship, and restoration
